This webinar gives you an introduction to the Electric vehicle challenges of NHV & durability performance
Electric vehicles are the future. With countries worldwide putting in place legislation to limit and even prohibit the sale of combustion engine vehicles, and major OEMs announcing plans to end production of ICE vehicles, it’s clear that the time for electric vehicles is now. However, this transition presents various challenges.
Developing an electric vehicle goes well beyond the battery. All the traditional attributes such as, NVH and durability are still just as important for the customer.
With the influx of different hybrid and electric vehicle configurations, automotive manufacturers and suppliers are faced with increased complexity. Vehicle electrification has brought unique NVH challenges on top of the new regulations, customer expectations and required agility and flexibility on the work floor to maintain the highest possible quality standards
Also, as EV is designed differently from ICE, etc the load, geometry and perhaps even the materials used, this would have impact on the durability of the EV cars.Load is perhaps instead of engine for ICE cars, battery is now the heaviest component of the part of EV cars.
How to ensure whether the new geometry of the car structure will not affect the durability performance?
That’s why Simcenter solutions from Siemens, can help by providing combined test solutions throughout the development process, allowing for faster development and greater efficiency. By leveraging Simcenter’s expertise and resources, businesses can stay ahead of the curve and lead the charge towards a sustainable future.
